Talent Scholarship for MS Biomedical Engineering (First Semester)

The criterion for Continuation of Talent Scholarship to subsequent semesters:

1. Students are required to maintain a CGPA between 3.85 to 4.00 to avail the same percentage of scholarship as awarded in the first semester.
2. Talent scholarship shall be reduced by 25% if the obtained CGPA is between 3.75 to 3.84.
3. Talent scholarship shall stand revoked for respective semester/term in case CGPA is below 3.75.

 Riphah / Industry Scholarship for First Semester (MS Electrical Engineering):

A 25% waive-off in tuition-fee of 1st semester for the graduates of Riphah International University or the candidates already employed in the allied industry. An SGPA of 3.5 will be required to maintain the scholarship in subsequent semesters.

Other Special/Need Based Scholarships offered by Riphah

Mumtaz Scholarship

Students securing any position among top 20% of class strength in university exam of the respective academic term are eligible.

• These students have attained SGPA of 3.50 or above in case of semester system.
• This scholarship is awarded from 2nd term/semester onward and available simultaneously to students eligible for Musabiqat Scholarship

Musabiqat Scholarship

Students eligible for Musabiqat Scholarship and securing any of top three positions in exams of Riphah International University for BS/MS degree programs of the respective academic term are eligible.

• These students have attained SGPA of 3.71 or above.
• There are three scholarships under this scheme available from 2nd term onward.

Usra Assistantship (Kinship Concession)

Usra assistantship is awarded to real brother(s)/sister(s) of students studying simultaneously in any program of Riphah International University.

• It is awarded to brother(s)/sister(s) admitted later.
• 10% assistance ship on Semester fee is available to 2nd brother/sister, 20% of Semester fee to third brother/sister and so on.

Salaar Assistantship

Salaar assistantship is awarded to regular serving ranked employee/personnel of Pakistan Armed Forces. The candidate has to submit proof of his/her employment/rank.

• 25% assistance ship on Semester fee is available in degree programs of Management Sciences.
• For continuation of assistance ship in subsequent terms, the student has to maintain an SGPA of 3.20 in each university exam.

Mawakhat Assistantship (Need cum based assistance)

Assistantships are available on need cum merit base for students who have passed at least one university exam of Riphah International University.

• The student has to prove his/her hardship to the competent authority.
• The assistantship is awarded on Semester fee .
• For continuation of assistance ship in subsequent terms, the student has to maintain SGPA of 3.20 in each university exam. 
• The student awarded Mawakhat Assistantship has to complete 01 hour of social work as per schedule of the job assigned by the competent authority in the vicinity of Riphah International University or its sponsor IIMCT.

Wali Assistantship (Orphanage scholarship)

Assistance ships under this scheme are available to students whose parents (sponsor) is deceased after admission to any program of Riphah International University.

• 50% assistantship on Semester fee is awarded to the student every term/semester.
• For continuation of assistance ship in subsequent terms, the student has to maintain SGPA of 3.20 in each university exam.

Ammaal Assistance ship

Assistance ships under this scheme are available to students getting admission in any regular undergraduate program of Management Sciences, Computer Sciences.

• The student has secured at least 60% marks in intermediate/graduation as the case may be and his/her parents are regular government employee.
• 25% assistance ship on Semester fee is available under this scheme.

For continuation of assistance ship in subsequent terms, the student has to maintain SGPA of 3.20 in each university exam.
