The MS in Telecommunications Engineering at Riphah International University is a two year (four semesters) 34 credit hours program and requires completion of 28 credit hours of course work and 6 credit hours of thesis. The course work provides the students with a solid theoretical and practical foundation to embark on research with myriads of applications in both, academia and industry. Each student enrolled in this program must also complete an independent study/thesis on topics related to the field, as suggested by the faculty member or proposed by external research and development organizations. Flexibility in the program is allowed in order to accommodate the diverse backgrounds, available resources and different abilities of the enrolled students. After successful completion of this program, the student should be equipped to pursue a career either in the industry or academia.
