The MS in Electrical Engineering at RIPHAH International University is a two year (four semesters) 34 credit hours program and requires completion of 28 credit hours of course work and 6 credit hours of thesis. Currently it is offered with the following four concentrations:

  • Signal Processing
  • Navigation and Control
  • Electronics and Digital Design
  • Communication

The course work in these four concentrations provides the students with a solid theoretical and practical foundation to embark on research with myriads of applications in academia, industry, defense and healthcare. Each student enrolled in this program must also complete an independent study/thesis on topics related to relevant concentrations as suggested by the faculty member or proposed by external research and development organizations. Flexibility in the program is allowed in order to accommodate the diverse backgrounds, available resources and different abilities of the enrolled students.

After a successful completion of this program, the student should be equipped with the fundamental knowledge of signal processing and control, respectively, as they are applied in engineering problems.
