Rehabilitation Activities for IDPs of Malakand Division

IIMC (Trust), the parent organization of Riphah International University, always play a leading role in rehabilitation of the affectees of any natural disaster or humanitarian crises inside or outside the country. During the military operation against anti-state elements in Swat, Boner, Dir and Shangla districts of Malakand Divisions and Bajur Agency more than three million people were displaced and migrated to the central districts of NWFP as well as other cities of the country. IIMCT launched a huge campaign for rendering a variety of services in different areas.

Blood Donations Camps

A blood donation camp was arranged at I-14 campus on June 3, 2009 by Jamila Sultana Foundation, a member of Thalassemia International Federation. Seventy-two students donated blood.

Riphah Society for Excellence lunched an awareness campaign for highlighting the worldly and hereafter benefits of blood donation in November 2009 and at the end of this campaign a Blood Donation Camp was arranged as joint venture with Red Crescent Pakistan on November 12, 2009. Seventy-eight students donated blood.
