Dean Message

My Dear students,

It gives me great pleasure to write a message for the first edition of InVision – a newsletter covering various activities of the students of Faculty of Computing. What is very encouraging for me is to see that the team led by Muhammad Danish and Al Fahad worked independently and tirelessly for this publication. Going through the pages of the newsletter I was fascinated by the rainbow of activities performed by our students. I am convinced that the students who participated in these activities have a bright future. We must remember that as we progress through this fourth industrial revolution that is transforming the way we live and work, we now need newly specialized skillsets. While technical knowledge will also be important, but more important skills required in this rapidly changing world are complex problem solving, critical thinking, creativity and people management – to name a few. The traditional classroom-based education may be adequate for knowledge dissemination, but the aforementioned soft skills can only be acquired by arranging, managing and participating in healthy extracurricular activities that are listed in this first edition of InVision.

I once again congratulate the editorial team for a brilliant effort and pray for their success in this world and the Hereafter.

Best regards,

Chief Editor Message

In the name of Allah The most gracious and the most Merciful. All praise unto Allah, Lord of all the worlds. The most Affectionate, The Merciful. In the beginning, I want to thank Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and all the members who worked audaciously and tirelessly for this publication. Now my key message for you is that if you want to achieve anything in life you have to be determined and focused but remember work patiently as Allah S.W.T said:

“O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient”

In the last, we look forward to the appreciation and encouragement of our worthy readers as they take the time to read the contents of our present issue.

Chief Organizer Message

I would firstly like to thank Allah Almighty who gave us the strength to do something for our faculty in specific and university in general. We have reported all the events which have participated in or organized in this newsletter. For the events that we have organized, I would like to appreciate my team members and other batchmates who were ready to take more responsibilities on their shoulders than already assigned to them. The spirit of cooperation and teamwork that they have depicted enabled us to organize series of events and report them in this newsletter. I would also like to thank our teacher, Mr. Hafiz NaveedAhsan for his continuous support and motivation for the compilation of this newsletter. At last, I would also like to thank the readers for their time and hope you will enjoy reading this publication
