Post Graduate Diploma in Visual Effects & Compositing

PGD – Visual Effects and Compositing is being introduced first time in Pakistan. This is a 12 monthly full-time programme, designed for those seeking to enter in the Film and Television industry to work on high-end digital productions.

Riphah Institute of Media Sciences (RIMS) is committed to providing modern Media Technology to prepare students for the world competitive film and television production market. To achieve this goal, RIMS continuously hunts for professional media instructors from Pakistan and from all over the world.

The curriculum is characterized by a strong focus on artistic fundamentals as well as industry-based production techniques. The extensive hands-on training and focused approach will enable  students to produce a strong, specialized demo reel at the end of the programme and they will graduate with the essential skills to seek employment in Pakistan and the International media industry.

Prior background in art, design or computer graphics is a bonus, but not compulsory. In fact, the majority of our newly inducted students have zero background in visual effects and Compositing but with the hands-on training they will become experts in the field of Visual Effects for Films and Television Production.

You will be able to sustain the management of talent within a framework of legality that favors the construction of relationships based on trust, an adequate management of labor conflicts and a positive work environment.

Based on the most recent research, the course will update the participants’ knowledge on the causes, risk factors and consequences of bullying at work. The course will also discuss the strategies for the prevention and management of bullying and harassment at work. Special focus will be on the prevention and management of bullying at work, investigation of cases, as well as on treatment of targets of bullying.

Develop a deeper understanding of human behavior in an organizational setting. Through this professional graduate diploma, you gain insight into best management practices, strategies and methods that cultivate and strengthen group performance, resource management and organizational dynamics.

The objective of this course is to enhance the ability of student to interact and lead effectively with people from cultures other than their own, specifically in the context of international business. The course is aimed at significantly improving the ability of practicing managers to be effective global managers. The course is concerned with considering the issues and problems of managing in cross-cultural situations, in particular at the people problems that invariably arise in international business relationships. It will shed light on the basic tenets of cross cultural management given by Quran and Sunnah. The students will also be encouraged to compare and contrast the cultural practices suggested in their text books and the practices critical for achieving success from indigenous perspective
