Riphah Knowledge Park

Riphah International University has collaborated with Capital Development Authority to build a state-of-the-art knowledge park at the unsightly roundabout in Sector H-8 of Islamabad. The unique example of    public- private partnership will harness the exciting reasons to beautify the environment in order to improve the lives of city dwellers.

Sheikh Anser Aziz, Chairman CDA and Mayor of Islamabad, and Hassan Muhammad Khan Chancellor Riphah International University, inaugurated the project in a groundbreaking ceremony of landscaping and beautification of roundabout held on March 31, 2017. The roundabout is located adjacent to Kashmir Highway near Zero Point Islamabad.

Riphah as part of its mission and vision, initiates projects that will have significant contribution in the society. In pursuance of playing its part in environmental protection.

Riphah International University relentlessly takes part in plantation campaigns every year. In continuation to same disposition, Riphah has decided to add to beauty of Islamabad by development of Knowledge Park, which will include the landscaping and beautification of H-8 roundabout and its surrounding green belts.

PANAH office established at Riphah International University Al-Mizan Campus Rawalpindi

Pakistan National Hearts Association (PANAH) has opened its office at Riphah International University, at Al-Mizan campus Rawalpindi. The President of PANAH Ex-Commandant of AFIC, Maj. Gen. (Retd) Masud Ur Rehman Khan TI(M),TBT and Chancellor Riphah International University Mr. Hassan Muhammad Khan Inaugurated the new office.

PANAH was established by the Founding Chancellor of Riphah International University Late Maj. Gen. (R) Zulfiqal Ali khan TI(M), T.BT with his colleagues in Armed Forces of Institute of Cardiology (AFIC) with a vision to create awareness of heart disease in Pakistan.

Riphah Sponsored Special Olympics Pakistan

Riphah International University Islamabad organized a ceremony in respect of Special Olympics Pakistan Contingent for the World Winter Games 2017.

World Winter Games 2017were held from 15-28 March 2017 at Draz, Austria. Different gift items such as footwear, t-shirts and suitcases were presented to the Pakistani team of Special Olympics by Riphah.

Riphah hosted “Special Olympics Pakistan, Athletic Meet and young Athletic Carnival”

Riphah International University hosted “Special Olympics Pakistan, Athletic Meet and young Athletic Carnival” for special children of Pakistan at Riphah International Hospital, Sihala on 26th & 27th April, 2017.

During the two day event, Special young kids of 2 to 7 years age from Azad Kashmir, Jhelum, Pothohar region, Islamabad, and Wah actively participated in different games organized by Special Olympics Pakistan. Purpose of this event was to support children with disabilities for their betterment and to make them feel independent, confident and privileged.

Tharparker Relief Activities 2016-17

Riphah Social Welfare Department (RSWD), Islamic International Medical College Trust, visited the Tharparkar's (SINDH) drought area at "Taulaka MITHI" from 2016-17 and performed rehabilitation and Medical care activities also provided the edible goods packets, livestock and drilled the water wells for them. IIMCT provided 1.5 million amounts for different section of relief activities in Tharparker.

Riphah New Initiatives


The President of Pakistan and Patron of Riphah International University, Mr. Mamnoon Hussain inaugurated University's WISH (Female only) Campus in Sector H-8/3, Islamabad.

Addressing on the occasion, President said It is necessary that our women must attain higher education and contribute in different fields so as to increase the pace of national progress and development.

President lauded the efforts of Riphah university's management for taking lead in establishing the first female-only campus, of any private-sector university, in twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. He also expressed his satisfaction towards the aims and objectives for the establishment of Riphah female only campus and stressed that such type of educational institutes are the need of the hour.

A large number of dignitaries including representatives of various foreign missions, faculty members & students attended the event.


Riphah International University launched Riphah Institute of Healthcare Improvement and Patient Safety, Pakistan's 1st of its kind patient safety and quality institute. The institute will offer different international and national certifications, training programs and professional degrees in the patient safety and healthcare improvement. Chancellor Mr. Hassan Muhammad Khan, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Anis Ahmad, Executive Director IIMCT Mr. Asadullah Khan, Project Director RIHIS Dr. Zakiuddin Ahmad, Principal and Director RIHIS Prof. Dr. Mati-ur-Rahman, Deans, Directors, faculty members, medical professionals and large number of students participated in the inauguration ceremony of the Institute held at Al Mizan Campus Rawalpindi.


RAK College of Dental Sciences, (UAE) and Riphah International University Pakistan hosted Inauguration of Center of Excellence in Leadership, Innovation and Quality (CLIQ).

The vision of the CLIQ is to improve professionals, educationists and practitioners learning in leadership, patient safety and quality management. The mission of CLIQ is to enable professionals and students to achieve their full leadership potential, to improve the professional knowledge & skills and enhance their value to both the UAE and international institutions and companies.

Medical professionals & dignitaries from UAE, Europe, Pakistan gathered together to attend the inauguration of the centre. Honorable guests Prof. Dr. Fadil Çitaku CEO, Academy of Leadership Sciences Switzerland, Dr. Jean Marc Gauer CEO RAK Hospital United Arab Emirates, Dr. Soohyun Jeon Director of Research, Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Dr. Jeong Hee Lee, Quality and Innovation Director Sheikh Khalifa Specialty Hospital RAK, Mr. Hussan Muhammad Khan, Chancellor, Riphah International University, Pakistan along with important personalities from Medical Education Arena were among those who attended the ceremony.


Riphah International University in collaboration with International School of Medicine Kyrgyzstan has planned to launch medical college in Bishkek, the capital city of Kyrgyzstan.

Chairman Parliamentary Body of Health Education & Social Welfare Kyrgyzstan Ismailo Aadia visited Riphah International University Islamabad.

The purpose of the visit was to have an orientation of the medical education and facilities offered at Riphah International University Islamabad.

Both organizations have already signed an MoU to initiate the project of medical education in Kyrgyzstan. Executive Director IIMCT Mr. Asadullah Khan said that the collaboration between both organizations is hallmark of agreements of enhancing bilateral trade and cultural relations by the governments of both countries.
