F.Sc. (Pre-Engineering) from any Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education of Pakistan securing 60 % marks in Matric and F.Sc. or equivalent qualification similar to F.Sc. (Pre-Engineering) that is British General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) or International Baccalaureate Advanced Placement with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for which an equivalent certificate has to be obtained from IBCC, Islamabad. |

B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics securing at least 60 % marks in aggregate from a university of Pakistan. |

Diploma of Associate Engineering in Electrical and Electronics for which the equivalent certificate has to be obtained from IBCC, Islamabad demonstrating 60% marks in aggregate. The admission will be against reserved seats. |

| Selection Criteria |
| |
| Admissions to candidates shall be granted strictly in accordance with merit which shall be determined on the basis of academic record, entrance test and interview. Weightage for calculating the merit shall be as under: |

| Procedure |
| |
| Admission notice is advertised in local/national and foreign newspapers sufficiently before the beginning of the academic session and last date for submission of applications is specified. Admission documents are available at the administration offices which could be obtained personally or through post on payment of nominal charges. Applications duly completed and accompanied with the following documents shall be submitted to the University by due date: |

FSc (Pre-Engineering) or equivalent certificate (two copies) |

Detailed marks certificate (FSc Pre-Engineering) (two copies) |
|
BSc degree along with detailed marks certificate (two copies) |

In case of foreign qualified students equivalence certificate from the Inter-Board Committee of Chairmen, Islamabad for recognition of hi qualification as equivalent to FSc (Pre Engineering) of Pakistan (three copies). |

Recent passport size photograph ( two copies) |
|
Foreign students shall submit an additional certificate to the effect that the candidate can read, write, speak and interpret English fluently to be able to benefit from theoretical and practical training which are conducted entirely in English. |
|
The certificate should be obtained from Embassy/High Commission of the country concerned in Pakistan or from the Pak Embassy/High Commission in the country. |
|
According to rules of the Government of Pakistan, foreign nationals cannot seek admission in any educational institution Pakistan with a tourist or visit visa. |

| Degree Requirements |
|
| |
|
|
To get pass grades in all the courses offered in a semester with SGPA of 2.00 or more, pass all the semesters of the degree programme with CGPA 2.00 or more. |
